The other day I had a visitor come to my acne site and ask me how to clear acne with toothpaste! I’ve never heard of such a remedy before so I took to the internet and quickly found out that toothpaste to clear troublesome spots has really become a mainstream home remedy. The idea behind toothpaste is that normal toothpaste contains both baking soda and peroxide. Both of these ingredients have been long known home remedies for quite a while so it makes sense that a paste that contains both these acne fighting ingredients should work well! The first thing you’ll want to do is wash and pat dry your face. Using toothpaste to clear acne is more for spot treatments than clearing up all your acne at once so you’ll want to focus on a few problem zits that just don’t seem to go away. After washing up, dab some toothpaste on each pimple and leave it there for at least one hour. Rinse away with warm water and in a couple days you should see a major improvement!
